The department's mission encompasses delivering top-quality education, cultivating English communication proficiency, enhancing critical analysis skills, and equipping students with soft skills and career readiness. The curriculum includes courses like Communicative English, English for Technical Writing, and specialized labs focusing on pronunciation, professional communication, and technical writing. Since 2018, the syllabus has been restructured to include Communicative English and Communication Lab in the first semester and advanced business communication courses in the sixth semester. Currently, English for Technical Writing and Communicative English & Report Writing Lab are offered to first and second-semester students, while the Future Ready Contributor Program Lab in the sixth semester aims to improve employability and career readiness. The institute also boasts a Communicative Language Center to further train students in these competencies.
